— How is my order shipped?

All Halloween Hot Sauce orders are shipped via USPS Parcel Post or USPS Priority Mail.

— How long does it take to ship my order?

Halloween Hot Sauce products are made by hand. We try to keep a stock of bottles and coffins on the shelves so that orders can be filled within 1-2 days but sometimes we run out of stock and have to cook to replenish it, or in the case of products in coffins, actually build the coffins. We always try our best to ship within a few days.

— How will I know if what I want to order is in stock and can be shipped quickly?

Email Items that are out of stock will be designated with an “OUT OF STOCK” message on the website but sometimes that doesn’t happen before an order for a sold out product can be placed.

— But I paid for 2-Day Priority Shipping! It’s been 2 days and I haven’t received my order! Why!?

Please understand that “Two Day Shipping” is the time in transit – not the time it takes from when the order is placed to when it arrives at your door. It still needs to be picked and packed, and coffins built in some cases. That said, once in transit, if you’ve paid for Priority, it will take approximately 2-3 days to reach you. If that seems misleading please understand that the USPS (United States Postal Service) recently re-named their services after the number of days a package is in transit. Our shopping cart connects to the USPS so with that also comes their service names.

— But I need my order now!

If you desperately need your order right away (as for a gift or event), please email If the items are in stock, we’ll make every effort to ship them out right away. If the items you want aren’t in stock we’ll at least be able to let you know and perhaps arrange for a viable substitute.

— How will I know when my order is shipped?

When your order is shipped you will (should) receive a shipping notification and tracking information from PayPal. If you’ve ordered and haven’t yet received a shipping notification then chances are your order hasn’t been shipped. Occasionally, orders are sent directly from the post office and not through PayPal. In those cases, a tracking number will be manually entered into PayPal and you will then receive a shipping confirmation and tracking number.

— Will I be able to track my package?

Yes. When your order is shipped and you have selected Priority Mail as your shipping option, you will (should) receive a shipping notification and tracking information from PayPal. See “How will I know when my order is shipped?” above.

— I received a broken/damaged bottle!

First of all…AHHHH! That’s tragic! What a waste?! Secondly, we wrap each individual bottle and coffin in bubble wrap, pack them in shipping paper or packing peanuts, and then plaster our packages with “FRAGILE, LIQUID, GLASS” stickers but broken bottles have still been known to occur. Please take a photo of the damaged bottle and email it to We believe you when you say that there’s been damage but we need the photo in order to file an insurance claim with the USPS. We’ll make every effort to replace your damaged merchandise as soon as possible.

— I emailed you and you haven’t responded! What gives?

We make every effort to respond to emails immediately, or at least within a few hours. If emailing hasn’t issued a quick response then please try emailing We’ll always get back to you as soon as possible.

— I’m about to file a PayPal dispute.

Please, email us first at so that we may be made aware of the problem and to afford us the opportunity to resolve it. If we haven’t yet shipped your order, filing a PayPal dispute usually results in an immediate refund of all monies paid and a cancellation of the order. That’s the fastest way to resolve the dispute with PayPal and to keep our reputation with them in tact. Of course we’ll read the details of the dispute and if there’s a better way to resolve it, then that’s the route we want to take.
